What's wrong with this picture? "Affordable" Healthcare and after it passes, drugs costs go through the roof along with drug company profits? How many of you got your $2500 per year deduction in health care costs? Mine have gone up 12% since Obumblecare passed. How about you?

not only did i not get the 2500 my medicare cost are going up. even though I paid into my whole life.
So some fat@@@ that has had 7 kids from 6 different daddies can get her welfare check, and her free obamaphone.

Too bad your country has Obumblecare. Here in the U.S. we have Obamacare, which smart Americans know is not health insurance. We keep trying to inform the unaware, but some of them keep talking about imaginary stuff.

Unfortunately, we also have greedy Americans like Martin Shkreli and his multiple-times cost increase on a single pharmaceutical, but social (from the same root word as "socialist") media knocked him down and he can't get no love.

I'm interested in any concrete evidence that other drug prices have gone up "across the board," but I doubt any will be forthcoming.

Surprise me.

My understanding is that this forum isn't for complaints about ACA, but only questions regarding rules and implementation.

There are plenty of complaints about the PPACA in this forum, mostly from posters who have no idea what it is or what it does, but that's the fun part.

As for drug costs, this was mentioned in the Healthcare forum, but it bears repeating: The Senate is launching an investigation:

(Relax, it's only four pages.)

The real fun part of the ACA bill was that the people that voted it in didn't know anymore about the f*cking thing than the rest of us. If you have the secret decoder ring to Obamacare, then by all means please share it with the class. Oh BTW a dozen government funded health co-ops just failed and left 750,000 people without insurance. That's just the latest domino to fall.

Here comes the sound bite again...

If you have the secret decoder ring to Obamacare, then by all means please share it with the class.

If you want to read the law itself, I'll post it yet again:

If you want to get a realistic view of how to obtain affordable health insurance, I'll post this link yet again:

Oh BTW a dozen government funded health co-ops just failed and left 750,000 people without insurance.

Oh, BTW, there are at least eight other threads on that topic, and in each of them the disinformation is corrected. When a co-op closes because Republican state legislators insist upon screwing their constituents in order to "show Obama," other options will be found for those individuals.

That's just the latest domino to fall.

Nope.

Lower health care costs?

Remember the dentist who killed the Lion? Cost him 50K. Was his second time. Did you notice the cars and the house the dude lived in? At what? 45?

You will not get a grip on medical costs until we understand a basic fact......

We are being raped from the top all the way to the bottom.

Well, since some of you are happy to let a brain surgeon run for President, maybe you can go back to consulting barbers for brain surgery...

Historically barbers did perform surgery. Yet another subject about which you know nothing.

Getting back to drug costs, to reiterate, there's this:

Many of those suffering sticker shock apparently never purchased health insurance prior to 2014 and so were uninformed about a host of topics, which insurance plans offered pharma coverage vs which ones didn't being just one.

You'd think with this marvelous thing called the Internet they'd have done a little research, but apparently not. So, better late than never:

Interesting. I try to respect the stated intent of the thread, and you use it as a platform to slam critics. You're one fine piece of shit, Arian. The people who know the most about ACA are its biggest critics. The whores shilling for it are sellouts, through and through.
