That doesn't even seem to make sense. Both Oxycontin and Percocet are drugs based on oxycodone, yet oxycodone gets a separate price listing?

Percs aren't (generally) as potent and are combined with acetaminophen....Oxys are the straight stuff.

As I understand it, the Oxycontins are time-release, so if you crush them first or chew them you get all the drug at once instead of over the course of 8 hours or so. So, Oxycontins are stronger than Percocets, but it's a matter of having more oxycodone in one than the other.

Percocets are like buying peach schnapps, while Oxys are like getting whiskey.

Same active main agent, different mitigating ingredients and strengths.
