If things start closing down again, the economy is going to really suffer, and we can't keep on paying people to stay at home forever.

Dow sinks 750 points as Delta variant fears hit Wall Street hard

Investors are getting spooked by the rising numbers of Covid-19 cases as the Delta variant spreads across the globe.
The Dow fell more than 750 points shortly Monday morning, a drop of 2.2%. The S&P 500 fell 1.7% and the Nasdaq was 1.2% lower.
This is shaping up to be the worst day for the Dow since a 943-point drop in late October.

Investors feared that the Delta coronavirus variant could threaten the US economic recovery. Shares of companies in sectors that were widely thought to benefit most from the reopening of the economy are getting hit the hardest.

Conservatives’ unwarranted opposition to vaccinations is having the effect of stalling the recovery and doing damage to the economy.

I wouldn't be so smug if I were you. Your vaccine protects you as little as it will from the subsequent variations of COVID.

Thanks to your President, his policies, and the policies of the Democrat Party, your country is on a downhill slide into oblivion. And the CCP is just sitting there, waiting to devour the remains.

Might as well enjoy the ride.

Joe Biteme is in the Presidency, Nan from San Fran is head of Congress and Up Chuck Schmoozer is head of the Senate. Things close it is all on them...

The unvaccinated plunge to go with the pandemic of the unvaccinated.
