This is an article in two parts. The first part is almost funny in places. It outlines a rotten borough deep in Alabama where a black man is elected Mayor after generations of the role being appointed by the white minority. The antics of the white minority are almost comical.

They involve locking doors, changing locks and so on.

Then it turns more sinister. General klan activity ensues. A house is burned down, racist threats are made. The mayor, a volunteer fireman finds he is the only firefighter to attend fires at black homes.

He is locked out of the fire station and a woman dies because he cant access a defibrilator.

Its a sick situation in a society that has not evolved.

Is there not some sort of ombudsman that can step in and restore elected representation in this town?

The racist trash will still be there of course. I doubt anything can be done about that.

Remember, the DemoKKKrats re-elected this man over and over, right up until 2018, when he finally termed out. If not for term limits, he'd still be the governor of Virginia.
