Donald Trump has Actually Created 34,000 Jobs

Carl Icahn (read about him), the man Trump wanted for his Secretary of Treasury, thank goodness Trump will not win.

The owner of the sinking Trump Taj Mahal is not interested in joining Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. should the GOP presidential nominee win the November election.

General counsel for Carl Icahn told Reuters late last week that the 80-year-old activist investor turned down Trump's invitation to be a part of his economic advisory council.

Icahn has been mentioned several times as a possible pick for Secretary of Treasury by Trump – a selection hundreds of Atlantic City workers have denounced.

"If this is the guy Donald Trump wants to be Treasury Secretary of the United States, then this country is doomed," Bob McDevitt, leader of UNITE HERE Local 54, said in a statement following the Wednesday announcement that the Taj would close its doors after Labor Day.

Union members learned Friday the shutdown would come in October as the casino's approximately 2,400 workers received WARN notices saying they would be laid off Oct. 10, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

Icahn blamed the striking workers for the impending closure, saying they destroyed the Taj and their own livelihoods when they were unwilling to accept his most recent contract offer.

Read about why , he doesn’t want to retore health and pension benefits.

Read it and weep libtard liars; your lies are being knocked down one at a time. Plenty of time to November, ya know?

Donald Trump has created about 34,000 jobs
Consider Ricardo Ara, the 24-year-old who works in the Koi Soho restaurant in the Trump SoHo Hotel. His story made news last month because Ara is an illegal immigrant from Mexico who has the right to work at the restaurant in Trump's hotel because of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a program Trump wants to end.

Ara is technically employed by the restaurant, not the Trump Organization, but his job probably wouldn't exist if the hotel weren't there.

Trump was called in to help market the property and to provide his name......he put exactly ZERO dollars of his won into this project, and he wasn't the "creative genius".....as the marketing organization, one of the mandates was to sell condos in the hotel.....at that, the Trump organization proved a total failure....

I know Trump wanted to let Icahn negotiate some trade deals, but Secretary of Treasury? Where did he seriously offer that job to him?

I think her foundation has created jobs, their workers are not volunteers, besides that she has worked in public service all her life.
So she has not created any jobs, thank you. If you had sources and numbers you should get them instead of you running your mouth instead of finding facts. You thinks does not equate to evidence, dear.

.....lawyers, bankruptcy and otherwise, are probably well represented in that statistic
I dont think hiring a lawyer is akin to creating a job, and maybe some inflated numbers could be padded that way, but since when has CNN spun things in favor of the Donald?

Got a link?

It Takes a Lot of Lawyers to Represent Donald Trump

Now when you have 3500 lawsuits, maybe one or two you can represent yourself on if they are against you personally, otherwise...

Exclusive: Trump's 3,500 lawsuits unprecedented for a presidential nominee

And Trump sues people just for spite!

BUSTED: Trump told 30 lies in two days during 2007 deposition about his ‘billionaire’ claims

Trump admitted to the Post that the intent of his lawsuit was to punish O’Brien for saying mean things about him.

“I didn’t read [the book], to be honest with you,” he said. “I never read it. I saw some of the things they said. I said: ‘Go sue him. It will cost him a lot of money.’ ”
