Dogs in Restaurants?

Our table setting include knife, fork, dog.

and while we can't fathom a meal w/o them , not everyone is a dog person

This is an American issue.

Whereas in Germany for example, dogs are allowed in restaurants. It's a sort of "right".

Are Dogs Really a Restaurant Health Risk?

Just another reason I'll never go to Germany again. I'm allergic with asthma to boot.

As an aside: it's interesting to note that Western Civilization seems to love dogs more than fellow humans these days. It's just one more marker in how fast we're on the decline.

(I would love a dog and have nothing against dogs. I just think we're too generally over-obsessed.)

It's really not so much a health risk ,considering much of the lower end eateries help could use shots & flea collars.....~S~

I was in a restaurant in Germany where we had to step over a dog to get to our table. He was that big; and shaggy. The owners, who were Dutch actually, made no attempt to move him out of the way.

Later on, it farted.

Germans are big on their "rights".

They take it down to the wire.

Have you seen German porn? They'll shit in each other's mouths. I don't think they're worried about dogs in restaurants.

We have several restaurants here in Vegas that have outside areas where customers can have their dogs with a set of certain rules. Animals must be on a leash and not impede traffic of customers. Also, barking dogs must be removed.

There is a reason the word 'dog' is 'god' spelt backwards.

Excepting little kids, imo dogs are the most loving creatures known to man.

God is the antithesis of dog.

Properly socialized dogs belong in every home and restaurant on the planet!

Peace.

Here in Baja there are some restaurants that allow dogs. And all the times I’ve seen that, the dogs have been very well behaved, mellow, not causing any problems.

They usually sit on the floor, but they’re allowed to sit at the table, lol. :)

Man, you really hate God, don’t you? Very, very sad.

In China dogs are always welcome in restaurants.

Even, not so many years ago, in a restaurant near Albany, New York.

Only condition was that had to enter via the kitchen door.

But (most of what was left) departed through the front door. In the tummies of super-satisfied consumers of "baby spare ribs".

Brother-in-law of mine loved the ribs and was heartbroken when the restaurant closed. Until he found out why.

Hello, BC. It is impossible for me to hate an unproved, supernatural, immortal being existing in the minds of illogical human beings.

Though, I do question the common sense and intelligence of folks willing to believe such beings actually exist or once existed.

BC, how do you feel about God embracing folks HATING-on, demeaning and shaming gay people...or hating on folks choosing to employ a legal medical procedure designed to safely end an unwanted pregnancy?

Peace.

You’re entitled to your opinion, but you are so very wrong. Do you know what is illogical? What is illogical is looking at everything - all of existence, the universe, life, the beauty, complexity, order, intelligence and the laws of the universe, and think that everything put itself together by dumb luck. THAT takes far, far more faith than believing in God.

To answer your question… from a Christian perspective, God doesn’t want us to hate anyone, just the opposite is true. Jesus said to love others, as yourself. Jesus taught that we should love even our enemies. However, we’re also told to speak the truth, in love. So-called Christians who are extremely hateful toward homosexuals are either misguided, spiritually immature, or are not actual Christians, not saved. I know tons of Christians, and I don’t know any who are hateful toward gays, they simply hold the view that homosexuality is a sin, and unnatural.

As for abortion, I realize you don’t believe in God, but for the sake of argument, how do you think God feels about dismembering and callously killing an innocent human being, for selfish reasons? It is evil. In fact, according to the book of Enoch and other ancient texts, it was the fallen angels who taught mankind abortion, so abortion has a demonic origin.
