That's a good point. Some people complain about tak radio, but only about 1/4 of the people listen to talk radio. Stuff like the New York Times, CBS, and CNN reach a far greater number of people in a given day. Even usually moderate papers like The Dallas Morning News run articles from the NYT.

I think the current mindset is the result of a decade of talk radio shouting into peoples' brains that Government is always bad, taxes are always bad, the government never does anything right.

I don't know of anybody that is forced to listen to any kind of radio.

C'mon MtnB, you KNOW that through the media, you are FORCED to listen to Rush 12 hours, Sean for 6 and Hugh for 6. You are NOT allowed to sleep. No time for CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, MSNBC, CNN; no time to read: NYT, LA Times, USA Today, WaPo, Chi Trib, Chi Sun Times, etc.
