For at least six of his eight years? Do you think liberals know or care that Clinton was the first president in fifty years to not have to deal with the cold war with the USSR? Do you think liberals actually believe Gore invented the internet which led to the economic boom in the mid 90s? Do liberals know when the tech bubble burst? Do they care?

Clinton and the Democrat Congress had to scramble to put together a budget for 1993-94 that would allow them to claim credit for the Bush41 economic recovery that had already started in 1992/4. They used this same excuse to claim credit for the 1995-2000 expansion that occurred under a GOP Congress. Dishonest, yes. Stupid, no.
