really what was so great about love me do, i wanna hold your hand and the like. certainly not much more than trashy pop songs.

there are a few songs i like but not enough to buy any albums or even spend the buck for them on i tunes.

Revolver gets my vote, too. It would heve been better if it had Rain on it, but few things are perfect.

While we're on the subject of the Beatles, has anyone tried out any of the remastered albums?

Any fan's vote has to go for The White Album:

Back in the U.S.S.R, Dear Prudence, Glass Onion (if you like it), Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, White My Guitar Gently Weeps (perhaps their greatest song ever), and Happiness is a Warm Gun.

That's just on ONE cover side.

Then you have Blackbird, Rocky Raccoon, and Julia. Can't forget Helter Skelter and Revolution 1 either.

The only really "disappointing" song on the album is Revolution 9 though pure Beatles. However, the album is still the greatest.

Followed by Abbey Road and Revolver. While I think Abbey is a great album, it's not their best. Though I am one of the few fans I know of Maxwell's Silver Hammer.

White, Revolver, Peppers, Rubber Soul - I bought Abbey Road (still got the vinyl) but it's not their best in my opinion. Some of the early stuff is still good, straight pop but good pop. I liked A Hard Day's Night with the film tie-in, corny as all hell now but good fun.

And we haven't even touched the singles of course :D
