Do you believe it?

And hating FOX doesn't make you look smarter.

It does not.
Not believing their stories with checking first, does.

The various politically interested news outlets commonly make up stories to suit their political opinions.
The same goes for any biased outlet, regardless of their affiliation.

the liberal media made it beyond clear that they can do stories like that, constantly, knowing that their sheep will buy it, even after it's disproved online.

There's been more than one thread here that was based on an articles title, even though the story going with it had nothing to do with the title

Most of the daft stories I see on here are posted by the more right leaning members.

I suspect the fault is not that rw's are just more gullible. Its that they're fear and hate and just a general high level of hysteria is fed by rw media.

Fox, Limbaugh, Beck, Drudge, Alex Jones - they all routinely publish stories that are patently untrue and they present them as though they are fact. And, you'll never see a retraction. If anything, every single one of them will double down on their lies.

While MSNBC does have very left wing opinion pundits, their daytime programming is quite a mix. There are right wing journalists as well as right wing guests.

Post an article from AlterNet or NPR and certain posters get crazy. But, if you actually read AlterNet and NPR, you find that they're really not left wing at all. Especially NPR.

With MSNBC, AlterNet, NPR - you do have to pay attention but their content is not red OR blue.

Prove it

Of course that is what you suspect. Given that you are a left winger, you seem to have the need to justify your particular set of beliefs with the idea that the other side must just be more gullible. Then the character assassination (buying into fear and hate) follows naturally.

Never mind that the same shit we see now with Obama mirrors perfectly the things that we seen with Bush. Never mind that there is an angry left wing pundit for every right wing one (do you really think there is a real difference between Shultz and Hannity). Never mind that insane attacks on Obama like the birthers are no worse than the equally insane attacks on Bush like the truthers. Partisanship seems perfectly acceptable to you.

Then we get justifications for MSNBC! The fact that you think there is a real difference in them and Fox really show what blinders can accomplish. You do realize that your core defense that they have both right wing journalists and guests is a method that is used EXTENSIVELY on fox. It is quite regular for FOX to bring in left wing guests and left wing hosts. It sells and they know it.

There really is little difference in the partisans on both sides. They are both gullible as hell and belive anything that the talking head or party feed them at the moment.
