Yep.

National Socialist German Workers' Party
Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei

Enough of this horseshit. To the op? You're an idiot.

The only Socialists within the NSDAP were the guys behind Otto Strasser. In 1930 it came to a break between the people of Otto Strasser and Hitler.

Look, this was published in 1930 in the newspaper "Der Nationale Sozialist".
It is a letter, where the Socialists announce their withdrawal from Hitler's party:
NS-Archiv : Dokumente zum Nationalsozialismus : Die Sozialisten verlassen die NSDAP

i tried this a lot of times, then i gave up. just search for "strasser", und you will find my attempts, lol.

now i read shit like that of The Twit and just shake my head.

SOCIALISM: "Marxism's TWIN. Socialism attempts to propmote Marx's theories within the mounds of democracy, which is virtually impossible.. It is obscessed with inequalities, and seeks to 'remedy' them, by punishing societys' achievers through taxation, and loss of liberty. Socialists win elections by encouraging resentment of the wealthy, blaming AMERICA, exploiting Western guilt, and castigating opponents as MEAN SPIRITED bigots, too stupid to understand their compassionate brilliance.

Practioners would include: European intellectuals, Canadian Healthcare Officials, and BARACK OBAMA.

Satisfied OP?
Those who say Hitler was a Socialist/Marxist are saying that Hitler embraced the teachings of a Jew. Hitler hated Jews.

there are even scholars on this board who say hitler admired marx and stated that in Mein Kampf.

:lol::lol:

I blame our dumbed-down Liberal-controlled Public School System for all the mislabelling. The Nazi Party was a Socialist Party. This is fact. Hitler himself was a lifelong loyal Socialist right up till the end. Unfortunately our Public Schools propagandize rather than educate. The Socialists who control the Public Schools don't dare tell the kids that the Nazis were Socialists too. Their reasons for this are pretty obvious. It is what it is in the end.

Nazis were Socialists. They were loyal Socialists right up till the end. Hitler himself used to boast about being a loyal Socialist all the time. People get their labels wrong all the time. People need to do more research before labelling others.

Yep.

National Socialist German Workers' Party
Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei

Enough of this horseshit. To the op? You're an idiot.

Yeah see, they have Socialist in their name..........

Doesn't matter that the were extreme fascist in their policies, it's the naming convention that really matters.......NOT. Perhap they were just socialist but only for the Master Race.

Fuckin' Duh.

Nazi
.A member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, founded in Germany in 1919 and brought to power in 1933 under Adolf Hitler.

Uh-huh. That must be why he killed them all.

Those who are fooled by a label....

Those who try and change a labal such as posin to sweet tea are the most stupid of all.
CHANGING WHAT THE NAZI'S WERE TO SOMETHING ELSE WOULD BE JUST LIKE THAT

....Those who are fooled by a label...

Hey, I have some nice fudge that I just picked up out there in the cow pasture. I even labeled it fudge. Try some.

So let me see if I have this correct….hilter named his party the national socialist party just to trick everyone into thinking he was a socialist when he was really a fascist....

Believe it or not many do think that. The Nazis were Fascists but they were also Socialists. Our dumbed-down Liberal-controlled Public Schools fail to tell the kids this for obvious reasons. These Socialists who run the Public Schools wont dare tell the kids that they're Socialists just like the Nazis were. They're very sneaky and cowardly in this omission. The Nazis were Socialists. It's the truth.

He was really a dictator. He just went the fascist route.

Basically, in 1920's Germany, there was a heavy socialist and communist sympathetic bent among the public, but not with the President and his cabinet. The Pres and his cabinet saw the socialists and communists as a threat to their power. The funny thing is, the majority of the German people didn't even know what socialism or communism really was. They just knew it was against the current form of government, which in their opinion sucked balls.

So what Hitler did was use the existing anti-government, pro-socialist sentiment among the people of Germany to create a new party, the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
(notice that they have the word "national", bringing the whole nation together. The word "socialist", which was meant to capitalize on the existing pro-socialist sentiment...even if the majority of the people didn't know what socialism really was. And the word "workers", meaning it was for the common man). There was already a National Socialist Democrat Party, and a Communist Party, but Hitler was telling people that his was teh shit cause it hated evil jews and other left-wingers.

(side note: One of Hitler's main jobs prior to starting the Nazi party was to report back to the military any Socialist or Communist sympathizer-type meetings so they could be squashed).

Well, elections weren't going so well for the Nazi's. They had some support, but not enough as they thought. They were winning some seats, but not too many. The National Social Democrats (NSD) and the German Communist party were winning more seats than the Nazi's in the governing body. Kinda like our congress, they called it the Reichstaag. Well, Hitler had some of the Nazi's beat up the communists a few times, but it wasn't working. So he came up with a different plan.

He had a fire started in the Reichstaag, and blamed it on communists and the NSD's. Hoo-boy. That got the German population all riled up. They were teh pissed at communists and the NSD's now. So they were all willing and shit when Hitler had the rest of the communists rounded up and executed, along with a ton of the NSD's. Thus eliminating a potential source of rivalry for his power very cleverly.

Soon after the President of Germany died, and since Adolf was Chancellor, he declared the office voided and placed himself as dictator.

Very abbreviated history lesson. But no...Hitler was not a "socialist" by any stretch of the imagination.

Don't worry. Lots of uneducated people were fooled too. You aren't the first, and you won't be the last.

Link to Hitler on Capitalism?
He adopted Mussolini's idea of merging corporate and state.

After the war Hitler was stationed in Munich, the capital of Bavaria. While Hitler was in Munich, the capital of Bavaria, Kurt Eisner, leader of the Independent Socialist Party, declared Bavaria a Socialist Republic. Hitler was appalled by the revolution. As a German Nationalist he disagreed with the socialist belief in equality.

Hitler saw socialism as part of a Jewish conspiracy. Many of the socialist leaders in Germany, including Kurt Eisner, Rosa Luxemburg, Ernst Toller and Eugen Levine were Jews. So also were many of the leaders of the October Revolution in Russia. This included Leon Trotsky, Gregory Zinoviev, Lev Kamenev, Dimitri Bogrov, Karl Radek, Yakov Sverdlov, Maxim Litvinov, Adolf Joffe, and Moisei Uritsky. It had not escaped Hitler's notice that Karl Marx, the prophet of socialism, had also been a Jew.

It was no coincidence that Jews had joined socialist and communist parties in Europe. Jews had been persecuted for centuries and therefore were attracted to a movement that proclaimed that all men and women deserved to be treated as equals. This message was reinforced when on 10th July, 1918, the Bolshevik government in Russia passed a law that abolished all discrimination between Jews and non-Jews.

It was not until May, 1919 that the German Army entered Munich and overthrew the Bavarian Socialist Republic. Hitler was arrested with other soldiers in Munich and was accused of being a socialist. Hundreds of socialists were executed without trial but Hitler was able to convince them that he had been an opponent of the regime. To prove this he volunteered to help to identify soldiers who had supported the Socialist Republic. The authorities agreed to this proposal and Hitler was transferred to the commission investigating the revolution.

Information supplied by Hitler helped to track down several soldiers involved in the uprising. His officers were impressed by his hostility to left-wing ideas and he was recruited as a political officer. Hitler's new job was to lecture soldiers on politics. The main aim was to promote his political philosophy favoured by the army and help to combat the influence of the Russian Revolution on the German soldiers.

Hitler, who had for years been ignored when he made political speeches, now had a captive audience. The political climate had also changed. Germany was a defeated and disillusioned country. At Versailles the German government had been forced to sign a peace treaty that gave away 13% of her territory. This meant the loss of 6 million people, a large percentage of her raw materials (65% of iron ore reserves, 45% of her coal, 72% of her zinc) and 10% of her factories. Germany also lost all her overseas colonies.

Under the terms of the Versailles Treaty Germany also had to pay for damage caused by the war. These reparations amounted to 38% of her national wealth.

Hitler was no longer isolated. The German soldiers who attended his lectures shared his sense of failure. They found his message that they were not to blame attractive. He told them that Germany had not been beaten on the battlefield but had been betrayed by Jews and Marxists who had preached revolution and undermined the war effort.

The German Army also began using Hitler as a spy. In September 1919, he was instructed to attend a meeting of the German Worker's Party (GWP). The army feared that this new party, led by Anton Drexler, might be advocating communist revolution. Hitler discovered that the party's political ideas were similar to his own. He approved of Drexler's German nationalism and anti-Semitism but was unimpressed with the way the party was organized. Although there as a spy, Hitler could not restrain himself when a member made a point he disagreed with, and he stood up and made a passionate speech on the subject.

Drexler was impressed with Hitler's abilities as an orator and invited him to join the party. At first Hitler was reluctant, but urged on by his commanding officer, Captain Karl Mayr, he eventually agreed. He was only the fifty-fourth person to join the GWP. Hitler was immediately asked to join the executive committee and was later appointed the party's propaganda manager.

In the next few weeks Hitler brought several members of his army into the party, including one of his commanding officers, Captain Ernst Roehm. The arrival of Roehm was an important development as he had access to the army political fund and was able to transfer some of the money into the GWP.

The German Worker's Party used some of this money to advertise their meetings. Hitler was often the main speaker and it was during this period that he developed the techniques that made him into such a persuasive orator.

Actually know what socialism is?

There are two definitions.

Who knows what they are?

There are more than two definitions, and types. Even marxism has many offshoots and spawn ideas. Too bad most of the USA is like Socialism=Communism hurr durr.
