What Hitler did was Aryanization of economy. The companies, which were taken from Jews did not go to State-Custody, but were sold very cheaply to 'Aryan-German' businessmen.

The rest of Hitler's economic policy just was war-economy.

The Party was named "German Worker's Party" until 1920. It was Changed to NSDAP in a time, where Hitler already signed the rental agreement for the party's building as General Secretary.

Nazis were Socialists. They were loyal Socialists right up till the end. Hitler himself used to boast about being a loyal Socialist all the time. People get their labels wrong all the time. People need to do more research before labelling others.

You might be overlooking the difference between socialism and fascism. Socialism, in theory, seeks to lift-up the weak, the proletariate. Fascism seeks to destroy the weak, as their mere existence conflicts with the image of national strength.

The words socialism and fascism have been blended into an almost singular empty pejorative. [This is why the current Right wing control of the media scares me. This movement is deeply anti-intellectual. And why not? You don't want Ph.d's sniffing around the Hudson for PCBs. You don't want scientists carbon dating the age of the earth. You want superstitious religious people who believe in creationism; you want people who don't have the tools or incentive to use science to discover what business is doing to the environment. You don't want voters using critical thought to analyze your policies; you want to saturate people with biblical imagery of "evil doers" and spreading contagions of liberal sin. You want a culture of fear and blind loyalty. Science and freedom-of-thought are a threat to the Right. You do realize that Right is going to get rid of science slowly. The Fascism of the Nazis relied heavily on religious rhetoric. The Jews (and the liberal Enlightenment) were seen as a threat to Germany's traditional German culture. Marx, on the other hand, was a devout secularist who thought religion was the opiate of the masses.

Also, study how Fascism treated gays. Many of the Right Wing white supremacist groups in America are deep enemies of socialism (which is too socially inclusive). Hitler has always had a home amongst the fringe right, who believe that gays, Jews, Mexicans, and non-whites are polluting the country. Fascism is obsessed with Borders, Language, and Culture. Hitler never tired of claiming that Germany was being weakened from the inside by "outside groups" who were threatening German culture. From the John Birchers to McCarthyism to the War on Terrorism and illegal immigration, the Right is seeking to define and protect the Real Americans, for which they have one singular image. Hitler believed that the liberal tolerance of the Weimar period had lead to the over-assimilation of jews into German culture. Hitler's biggest enemy was on the Left. It was the German Right who wanted to "clean" the country of impurities. It is always the Right who believe that tolerance leads to value relativism and over-inclusiveness
