Just because Christians are not militant now does not mean it isn't in their culture to be violently authoritarian. As I said earlier all the differences are only a matter of degree. Both still want to do God's work by using the law to remove temptation and punish sins themselves.

I have already supplied the definitive answer: All faiths do the same things when they try to exert secular control. Any differences between the faiths when they try to regulate morality are only a matter of degree. The example of the Tailiban is useful because it illustrates where theocracy always tries to go and why it must be resisted in any attempt to grow.
