Oh, I'm pretty sure losing 7 governor's seats (one in Kansas of all places) is a good sign of the strength of the GOP voting. Not only that, minimum wage laws raising the MW above the FMW took hold in 3 red states as I recall.

Again, I give Tump a 2/3 chance of being re-elected.

I base that on this; The senate didn't switch in the mid-term which means that in state-wide contests the GOP brand was strong enough to withstand the continent-sized pool of sleaze that surrounds him. Granted, there were many more blue seats up for grabs than red seats....

Anyway, if the voters in those states that had GOP holds and flipped from blue to red are not totally appalled yet by Trump and the scandals, the sleaze, the vulgarity, kidnapping kids, loving dictators and being a doormat for Russia...I doubt anything that happened post 11/18 would change their minds.

We have binary elections. If Democrats turn out in the swing states, the Dems will win. If not, they won't.

I think Trump's chances of retaining the White House are 2 out of 3. For whatever reason, Americans like re-electing Presidents.

What is hilarious is the singularity of the A-B dynamic you guys endorse. We have absolutely no pull with NK. They are not a trading partner with the US. Who has pull? China.

China, perhaps the one nation that could get them to give up their nukes, is currently embroiled (and winning) a trade war with the US if you measure our trade imbalance as the yardstick of victory.

When Kim launched his last missile on 7/4/17, it was done from a mobile launcher they bought/acquired/stole from China. China, instead of helping us de-nuke NK, is helping them.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Trump has zero pull with NK and has alienated perhaps the one nation that could help us. We have gained nothing from the trade war as our imports for 2018 climbed 10% according to the Wall Street Journal.
