Trump tweeted yesterday that Sessions gave away 2 secure Republican seats in Congress by allowing the DoJ to indict Chris Collins and Duncan Hunter before the midterm election.

Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department. Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff......

He just openly admitted he wanted Sessions to hold off the indictments until after the elections so that Republicans could keep the seats... That's obstruction of justice.

I'm sure Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch would never have done that, huh, some delays here and there. The only difference is that Trump tweets what he thinks. He's apparently not as smart as most southerners. He really needs his lawyers to screen his tweets.

TRUMP clear states the problem is not the investigations, but the timing of how they were publicized so close to the elections.

And he also states that they are from investigations that have been going on for quite some time. You don't continue to delay justice for political reasons. We aren't talking about just harming someone's credibility, we are talking about criminal indictments.

So if the investigation have been going on for some time why not publicize them giving enough time to run someone else.

So if the investigation have been going on for some time why not publicize them earlier giving enough time to run someone else? TRUMP is commenting on the timing.

Yeah and the investigation of the two Republicans is completed, so they indicted them. They didn't hold off on INDICTING CRIMINALS for political reasons. Doing so is obstruction. You don't come out and tell someone you are going to indict them because your investigation is over but you are holding off until after the election. That's not fair to the voters... Voters don't want to vote for someone that is a criminal, and who might be going to jail and be replaced by someone else. REAL voters vote for the person, not straight ticket just for the party.

The charges go back 2 years, so why did they hold off on indictments for 2 years? And where are the indictments for Comey, McCabe, Strozk, Hillary...

....because their investigation was finished. Why is that hard to understand? Do you want to vote for someone only to find out a week after the election they got indicted and the government knew about it BEFORE the election but did nothing about it?

Quit being so fucking partisan.

Lol "but...but...but... Obama!"

There's no double-standard... You're just making excuses. Making things right, and draining the swamp, doesn't mean you continue to do things the wrong way just because someone you disliked in the past did. That's just ludicrous and makes you no better than the people you hate.
