Nazi police issued gun permits. It was Hitlers Third Reich law afterall. Nazi police were also who REVOKED permits. They maintained a registry in this fashion. "Trustworthy"....aka...enemy of the Nazis or not an enemy....was the #1 factor in determining who was approved.
