I always wish Derek and the Dominos had made more than one studio album. Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs is such a fantastic album. Still surprises me that it was considered a failure at the time. Though Rolling Stone now has the album on it's best albums list at #115.

I always enjoyed how this one was just a impromptu jam with Clapton and Duane Allman. That's why when it starts, the fade-in is them already playing.

Eric Clapton's soloing ability seem to have perished sometime around 1970, I think "Let it Rain" was the last thing he played actually worth a listen.

I have the D&D Vinyl somewhere in the garage.

Layla is easily the most cheesy and overplayed song in human history, the only part I like is Duane's introduction
