Recently saw both together in concert. Both rocked the house and did a fantastic job. Both bands did better than expected. If you have an opportunity to see them while they're still on tour, it's worth doing so.

How nice for you!

Out of curiosity, how much did the tickets set you back?

$75. I was only a couple rows away from the ground floor and about halfway to the stage if not closer. Could see everything though perfectly fine.

Pretty good deal all things considering. I paid $95 for tickets to see Rush last year at the same place and I was a bit further back.

That really isn't a bad price.

Gonna look for their tour site online and see if they are coming here.

I am SOL. Certainly nothing close enough here in their tour.

 I know how that can be. A lot of the bands/musicians I want to see are either not touring right now or not touring anywhere near here.

Clapton isn't even touring in the U.S for the rest of the year.

Sucks. I'm rarely interested in going to concerts anymore (but I love going to see local bands play - fun stuff and some good musicians). But, this is one I would have seen live.

Saw Heart here in White Rock in the mid seventies. :)

They actually stayed in White Rock for an entire summer so we went and talked with them. It was pretty hippie avant garde here then.

My favorite. Anne's voice was amazing.

Crazy on you

I saw Heart at Purdue in the early eighties (or late 70s - can't recall the exact year). It was one of the best shows I had ever seen.

Ann Wilson's voice is extraordinary. Such power.

are both wilsons still in heart or was it a rip off like KISS has become?

this brings back memories.

They are still together. Here's a single from their 2007/8 album Hope & Glory

Ann and Nancy

The quality is not great but it does showcase the depth of her voice and shivers come. :)

And this is one I like. Usually Anne sings this one, but Nancy's always had a sweet voice too.

Interestingly enough, Heart ended up doing a Led Zeppelin song for the encore. Did a pretty good job with that too.
