This is cool.
I also think this is cool. But also ironic how the Germans sympathize with the Confederacy. Oh, sure, I understand it: Gone with the Wind is huge internationally, and that movie is basically a massive apologist narrative for the Civil Rights South. And let's be frank, sometimes its more fun to play the bad guys!
But I wonder how many of these Germans know of the Nueces Massacre? Many German immigrants in Texas along with the Tejanos sympathized with the Union. But the Germans were more likely to flee Texas because of it.
