Der Gropenfürher’s Missile Attack On Syria Was Motivated by Profit, Not Policy

It is always amazing how conservatives are so easily fooled. Of course, their love for war and the killing of other humans (except the unborn) is well known, so rational people expect right-wingers to be thrilled by Der Gropenfürher’s missile attack on Syria.

Unfortunately, Der Gropenfürher’s decision to launch the strike was a business decision, not one of strategic policy.

The costs to the taxpayers for that one single missile strike will be over $60 million dollars. Tomahawk missiles cost roughly $1 million per unit, so Der Gropenfürher’s folly just guaranteed Raytheon Co. a handsome additional profit over and above what they would have expected. Also, Der Gropenfürher’s family members will appreciate the ongoing honoraria from the defense industries like Raytheon Co. as their show of thanks for his war “policies” (wink, wink).

It is certain Der Gropenfürher’s future decisions to launch missile attacks on other countries will be welcomed by the U.S. war profiteers and conservatives alike. But we all know the real money is made with an all-out invasion and a protracted U.S. military presence which kills, maims, and disfigures thousands of our troops. It is this human carnage that generates the most profit, as it also forces the replacement of countless billions-of-dollars of spent, damaged, and destroyed war materials.

Additionally, conservatives, the war profiteers, and especially Der Gropenfürher are pleased that the number of young Americans available to be sent into conflict-for-profit is nearly inexhaustible. And given Der Gropenfürher’s many cronies in the defense industry, the next few year are going to cost a lot of U.S. lives, and put hundreds-of-billions-of-dollars into the pockets of the same small group of people as did Dubya's useless wars.

Here’s how much it costs to replace the 59 Tomahawk missiles Trump fired on Syria

Sadly, conservatives are much too stupid to realize this. The comic value of the right-wingers' stupidity will be seen in their following comments. Enjoy.

It cost way more than that. I read that these specific missiles with the targetting technology they do cost 1.4 million a piece. Add on the recon, planning, and logistic costs and this strike cost over 100 million dollars.

Only six standard Mig-23 floggers confirmed killed via actual evidence. That's only like 11 million dollars in damage.

It sent a priceless message.

Oh yeah. Russia took the hint and is now ramping up Syrian anti-air defenses and sending naval reinforcements to the region. Did you hear about how they pulled out of the deconfliction agreement with the US?

The comic value of the left wingers has already been seen in the OP

Put it in perspective.

We borrowed about 2 billion today. Most of it spent on Marxists programs like paying for Porch Sitters in places like Chicago, Detroit & Baltimore....places run by Democrats for half a century.

What's a mere 100 million to show Russians & Muslims that the U.S.A. is no longer run by a Pussy?

But it is. Only a major pussy would of made a move so incompetent, irrational, and emotional.

It's like how the guy with the biggest truck has the smallest dick. Overcompensating.

Dear me.

Glad to see you are taking this seriously.

It's doubtful that Putin would sacrifice Russia for Syria, if that is your gist.

Russians have been testing Trump’s resolve since he became president. The supposed Russiagate during the election remains, until proven otherwise, a myth perpetuated by Dems for self-serving political ends. The Russians took responsibility for disposing of Syria’s chemical weapons. Trump has let them know he expects them to uphold their end of the bargain and that there will be real consequences for negligence.

Last week, the Trump administration appeared to accept Assad’s permanence in power. That may have been a trial balloon, to see whether he would respond positively. When Assad allegedly accelerated his attacks instead, that sent a signal that he could not be trusted, and would not respect the WH for its tolerance. The new strategy is “regime change” following the defeat of the ISIS... kind of a quandary there putting the horse before the cart as ISIS should be priority #1

We borrowed about 2 billion today.

There goes Donald again! Borrowing money and demonstrating fiscal irresponsibility. I hope he realizes you cannot launch 100 million dollar missile strikes amidst tax cuts and budget increases. At least if you want to avoid the mistakes of George Bush.

Syria is essentially a vassal of Russia and Iran, meaning that pushing Assad out would require a significant commitment of diplomatic and military resources. Direct conflict with Russia is unlikely... the Puttie would trade Assad for a permanent presence in the country...

I thought it was the guy with the biggest gun had the smallest dick...

I've been buying the wrong toys

And I suppose you believe Obama's drone strike program that killed thousands of innocent people was done for free, right?

It's amazing how selective the Left is in their condemnation of military use of force.

Wow. Is that dumb. A company with a market cap of 45B and the possibility of an additional 60 mil in sales. Wow, Trump will probably be able to retire now.
