    ...a tax cut for more than 160 million mostly middle-class Americans because they object that it includes a tax on about 350,000 people, those with more than $1 million in annual taxable income.​
    So, SS is going broke, and Democrats want to cut SS taxes for the middle class, and raise taxes on 350,000 people...which probably wouldn't be enough to make up the cuts.

    Does this make sense? Hint: No.

    A Republican alternative, which would have extended the current more modest tax cut and slashed the federal payroll to pay for it, was rejected 78 to 20...​
    Oh. So Democrats don't really care about cutting taxes; they're just posturing.

    Looks like dumb people fell for it.
