Lets take the Senate for example, where your party still has some significant power.

Republicans have a 51 seat majority, and in effect 52 votes with the VP being a tie breaker.

The GOP needs 50 votes to pass the tax reform bill and your party has sacrificed every bit of political leverage in a futile attempt to deny Trump any of his agenda. Had Schumer played ball just a little, engaged in some negotiations or allowed a few of the Dem Senators to bargain, the Dems might have saved the SALT deduction.

But no, you Dems want to pretend Trump is not the legit President and oppose EVERYTHING with no compromise.

And so you are reaping the Whirlwind.

The Senate was intended as a check on popular shifts so it lags the electorate. Will take another 6-8 years to whittle the democrats down there as it should.
In the meantime the Democrats keep up their mantra of "we lost so you have to do what we say".
Hilarious.

Poor little snowflake.

For 5 years Trump tried to convince Americans that Obama was not the legitimate President.

And the Senate opposed Obama's nominee to the Supreme Court for a year- with no compromise.

Now that Trump is President- and Republicans are trying to pass everything that they want with no input from the Democrats.

If the Republicans want a compromise with the Democrats- maybe they should have actually asked them to participate in the tax reforms?

Even worse, the Senate was originally supposed to be picked by members of the House to represent them representing the people!

And you think anyone will listen to you after you have backed Trump? Trump has made you look like a bigger idiot than before.

No it was intended to be chosen by state legislatures. In a federal system of government the people were represented by the House and the States by Senate.
The 17th Amendment killed what was left of the constitution.
