that 689 billion for defense is set to drop to approx. 550 billion next year....sequestration will take it to somewhere between 425 and 500.

Most of our defense budget is going into building new facilities and tearing down old ones. New facilities we won't be able to afford to take care of because they're all sealed tight and have to be climate controlled at all times. You can't even open a friggen window in these new buildings. You have to run both heat and AC year round to keep them from turning into a black mold breeding grounds.

I get calls all day long for AC when the temperature is 50 degrees f outside.

We can't buy air filters anymore because they were waiting on the Super-committee. We've been waiting since this summer for the SC to come up with a workable budget because Obama and the Senate don't have time for that kind of thing.
