Virginia Dems stand by ‘sickening’ ad showing Gillespie supporter trying to mow down children

"The new opposition ad titled “American Nightmare” was released Monday by Democratic group Latino Victory Fund (LVF) and is scheduled to run through Election Day. The opposition ad shows minority children seemingly being chased by a driver in a pickup truck, decked out with a Confederate flag, a “Gillespie for governor” bumper sticker and a “Don’t tread on me” license plate.

The driver makes his way toward the scared children who shout, “Run! Run! Run!” when they see the truck. The ad concludes with a scene of a Charlottesville-like rally, with a narrator asking: “Is this what Donald Trump and Ed Gillespie mean by the ‘American Dream?’”

WTF?

The bad news is this is a new low for Democrats.

The good news is they know their constituents / voters - people too stupid, too emotional, and too easily offended to reach by discussing actual issues...and reality. Instead, they need to be manipulated emotionally.

:p

I put up the video last night. Disgusting. But that's D's these days.

Remember how their violent rhetoric incited some insane snowflake to attempt to assassinate GOP politicians ... and afterwards they vowed to tone down their bat-shit crazy violent intolerant speech... and how that lasted about 12 hours.....and now they are just ramping it up again.

This is part of the reason they lost over 1,000 elections, lost the House, lost the Senate, and lost the WH.

It's their new campaign strategy, make lies about opposition, call them racist, sexist *phobe based on nothing, then 'justify' your hideous behavior because of those made up lies and character assassination you did.

However, I think they under estimate people's ability to see through this BS, PARTICULARLY the middle, non entrenched votes. I do believe it will back-fire, and hope they continue with it.

Exactly easyt65. Somehow it hasn't dawned on liberals that every time they open their mouths to trash talk voters who aren't in lock step with them people just turn away.

Clinton's "deplorables" comment was a freaking gift to rally the conservative and even moderate base that makes up Republicans. Why on earth would any voter center or to the right vote for someone who you know hates your guts?

We already had the new low in America history with the presidency of DJT.

CLINTON was 100% accurate with her Deplorables comment although her % was off a bit. It's not 50% that are racists, it's more like 80%.
And100% on this forum.
You can't be too honest in politics or you pay the price for it.
