Democrats always tell you who they are afraid of.

The irony is delicious. What's more important? Standing on principle and losing or choosing compromise and winning?

Why don't you ask the Democrats? They chose someone who was 'electable' in Obama and got Bush the third. The lesser of two evils deceit is killing us.

Obama is no Bush, good grief, I would pay money to get Bush back in there. You get Obama in there again and you are sure to be dead, because this country will be left in the ash heap of history with a socialist/marxist President presiding in Obama.

Ummm...the DNC isn't doing anything different than the RNC or Freedom Works or whoever Rove's millions is backing. It's called an election. And thanks to the conservative SC, unlimited funds can be spent. Get used to it.

This is the way it usually goes down. The rich and powerful do what they can (which is quite a lot) to ensure that both major party candidates are 'safe' to their interests. That's what the term 'electable' means, after all: no threat to the status quo.

Ummm...You could have posted this in the thread that was already happening...

:dunno:

It needs thread all of it's own, The dems are spending millions of dollars during a primary in the attempt to influence who Republicans nominate, they are doing this so they can make sure we put up a weak candidate that they can beat. That's why. And anyone who is stupid enough not to see this, is deaf, dumb and blind.

We don't spend our money attacking candidates in the other party during a primary season, we wait until there is a nominee. There's your difference. There is very real fear among Democrats that Mitt Romney will be our nominee and that he will mop the floor with Obama. In Fact, with this add, they have just CONVINCED ME that I will support Romney. The add will backfire and nominate who you dems fear the most.

LOL.. Besides being a better speaker, what substantive thing has he done differently?

Not scared, just getting an early start on winning in 2012.

Mitt ain't beating Obama.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, sure your not.:lol::lol: Tell me more stories, wasn't it you that originally posted this add??? Welll, it just turned on you, because now Republicans all over those states will realize that this was a bought and paid for add by the DNC who are attempting to influence our primary election. This will backfire on the DNC big-time and Mitt will use it to show who you guys are afraid of. Then they vote for him.

First of all, the fact that the DNC funded this ad is no secret. Doesn't it say it at the end? They usually do. Second, it doesn't matter who funded the ad; those are Mitt's own words. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. It's called campaigning. Look it up.

And it's not Newt, even though Newt is leading in national Republican polls. It's Mitt, they are terrified of as Mitt is shown beating Obama in a head to head match-up. Here's there new million dollar add running in primary states and the ONLY thing that Mitt has changed his mind on is abortion, that's it folks, but they will cut and edit, not do their own homework and here is what you got.

The Democrats would not be spending millions of dollars attacking Mitt Romney if they were not afraid that he would win the general should he win the nomination. Think before you vote in the primary and " nominate the best conservative who can WIN the general." The Democrats fear no one else only Mitt.

actually, mitt and the president are about even in the polls. the difference is statistically insignificant. he kicks every other rightwingnut's butt, though. so why are you lying?

RealClearPolitics - President Obama vs. Republican Candidates

the rightwingnuts are the ones who have a problem with mitt, not dems. but that's ok. you'll nominate a wingnut and get beaten.

thanks

Mitt wins in every poll I have seen or least drawn even, that's what's got you guys scared. He's also got the independent vote which really scares you, because without that segment your guy does not have a snow ball's chance in hell of winning, that's why the add in the early primary states, you would think that the Dems would save their money for the general, but they are clearly trying to influenece the outcome of our nomination.

Please nominate Mitt Romney.

Please

It's a primary election, the GOP has 8 candidates, we have not yet nominated our candidate who will take Obama on, normallly the parties wait until there is a nominee before they start spending their war chest. They go with their attack adds against the NOMINEE, not the candidate and they do it during the GENERAL ELECTION, NOT THE PRIMARY ELECTION. That's how afraid the Dems are of Mitt Romney, they are showing IT by spending millions in attack adds against a CANDIDATE IN THE PRIMARY that they do not want to face him IN THE GENERAL for fear of losing.

For Christ's sake. Look, it's an election. The RNC has already launched attack ads against Obama. The Obama camp believes Romney will be the nominee. Therefore, it's reasonable to expect the DNC to attack back. It's as simple as that. If you can't wrap your head around that, then I don't know. Have fun wasting your time, I guess. :dunno:

These personal attack campaign ads coming from the Obama campaign against Romney has been in the works since August 2011.

Barack Obama’s aides and advisers are preparing to center the president’s reelection campaign on a ferocious personal assault on Mitt Romney’s character and business background, a strategy grounded in the early-stage expectation that the former Massachusetts governor is the likely GOP nominee.

The dramatic and unabashedly negative turn is the product of political reality. Obama remains personally popular, but pluralities in recent polling disapprove of his handling of his job, and Americans fear the country is on the wrong track. His aides are increasingly resigned to running for reelection in a glum nation. And so the candidate who ran on “hope” in 2008 has little choice four years later but to run a slashing, personal campaign aimed at disqualifying his likeliest opponent.

Very risky move by the DNC--that may just come back and do a "rope a dope" on them--should someone else win the nomination--LOL---

How in the hell can anyone support any of these crocked bastards. They all are not worth my vote. I have not voted for anyone running for president. I always wrote in my choice. Every candidate in the last 35 years since I could vote sucked.
