As a fair-minded supporter of President Trump and a good sport, I have encouraging news for Democrats from Bloomberg Businessweek (Print edition of March 19, 2018):
The Democrats "need just 24 more seats for a majority [in the House], and Republicans hold 23 that Hillary Clinton carried in 2016. Winning all or most of those, plus a few purple districts, would do the trick."
*****
The article tells us that SOME Democrats feel that the key to more victories is to move to the right, in order to attract Trump voters. Conor Lamb, for example, is a moderate Democrat (who says he will NOT support Representative Pelosi to be the next Speaker).
OTHER Democrats disagree. They feel the party should energize the base. That opinion is endorsed by Steve Phillips, for example, the author of Brown Is the New
White.
