The Nevada Democratic Party has always been fairly moderate compared to the national party, but in 2020 the Bernie wing took control of the reins. Since then the party has been a mess. They were the only ones to lose an incumbent governor last year and they also lost two other statewide row offices and fund raising has dropped off significantly. Fortunately, smarter heads have prevailed and the "Reid Machine" has retaken control.

Nevada has done a hell of a lot over the years. Clark County's water consumption has dropped over the past 20 years despite the population tripling.
