There is nothing to compel Israel to enter into good faith negotiations with the Palestinians because they know how to play the game of 'Israel politics' in the United States; indeed, Israel has never entered into good faith negotiations for this very reason, they do exactly what they want no matter how detrimental to the United States.

The United States and Israel aren't in an 'alliance,' it's a codependency.
