Democrat Coakley Goes Thug

Paparatzi are used to this sort of treatment. Most deserve it and understand it as "part of the job"...

Reporters are now paparatzi? I think the stronger argument would have been we don't know if the person who shoved was related to the candidate. I guess you are conceeding that point already though.

Does every campaign now have to have some trumped up faux thuggery tale as a part of the rightwing propaganda?

Who was flag selling guy who faked getting beat up by union members? That was a hoot too!

Oh yeah Gladney, lol, then pretended he needed a wheelchair to get around lolol.

It's carbs - he's been in denial for a very long time...

Coakley doesn't want to answer any questions. Every time she opens her mouth, she drops in the polls. I do find it odd that she is in Washington, accepting campaign donations from the Health Care industry.
Of the 22 names on the host committee--meaning they raised $10,000 or more for Coakley--17 are federally registered lobbyists, 15 of whom have health-care clients. Of the other five hosts, one is married to a lobbyist, one was a lobbyist in Pennsylvania, another is a lawyer at a lobbying firm, and another is a corporate CEO. Oh, and of course, there's also the political action commitee for Boston Scientific Corporation.
COAKLEY1.JPG

All the leading drug companies have lobbyists on Coakley's host committee: Pfizer, Merck, Amgen, Sanofi-Aventis, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Astra-Zeneca, and more. On the insurance side of things, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, HealthSouth, and United Health all are represented on the host committee. Those HMOs (like Aetna) or drug companies who don't have lobbyists in Coakley's top tier of fundraisers? They're covered, because the host committee includes four lobbyists representing the Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), two representing America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), and one representing the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO)

So think of these top donors to health-care reform's 60th vote next time President Obama claims that he's battling the special interests in this battle. The army listed below is on Obama's side, and these clients will all benefit from "reform."

Here are some of Coakley fundraiser hosts with some of their current health care clients:

* Thomas Boggs, Patton Boggs: Bristol-Myers Squibb
* Chuck Brain, Capitol Hill Strategies: Amgen, BIO, Merck, PhRMA
* Susan Brophy, Glover Park Group: Blue Cross, Pfizer
* Steven Champlin, Duberstein Group: AHIP, Novartis, Sanofi-Aventis
* Licy Do Canto, Raben Group: Amgen
* Gerald Cassidy, Cassidy & Associates: U. Mass Memorial Health Care
* David Castagnetti, Mehlman, Vogel, Castagnetti: Abbot Labs, AHIP, Astra-Zenaca, General Electric, Humana, Merck, PhRMA.
* Steven Elmendorf, Elmendorf Strategies: Medicines Company, PhRMA, United Health
* Shannon Finley, Capitol Counsel: Amgen, Astra-Zeneca, Blue Cross, GE, PhRMA, Sanofi-Aventis.
* Heather Podesta, Heather Podesta & Partners: Cigna, Eli Lilly, HealthSouth
* Tony Podesta, Podesta Group: Amgen, GE, Merck, Novartis.
* Robert Raben, Raben Group: Amgen, GE.

If Coakley pulls it out, this is the crowd that will have brought her here. If health-care reform passes, this is the crew that will have won.

Aren't these companies supposed to be the bad guys? That is what Obama, Reid and Pelosi would have you believe. Yet, there they are, these evil corporations, giving massive amounts of cash to elect another Democrat to the Senate.

Move along kids, nothing to see here......

I guess they are only the enemy when its politically expedient?????

This might be the most delussional post i have seen in some time.

There is a VIDEO showing the guy pushed the ground and a man in face, and yet you say 'faux thuggery'.

Care to explain that?

You should know by now that these liberals have their heads stuck so far up their asses that they cannot see what's right in front of their eyes. Especially NYcarbineer.

This race has proved to be an interesting one and it does appear that Martha Coakley is a weak candidate for office. When you have even MSNBC worried about the so called " Ted Kennedy Seat" then it does appear to say a little more about the candidate than it does about Scott Brown. I find it interesting that if you really look at the race it is actually reflective of the the feelings on the healthcare bill .

And just 43 percent of Massachusetts voters support the Democratic national health care plan now making its way through Congress, versus 36 percent who oppose. In one of the bluest states in the country -- and one with up-close experience with a state health care regime that resembles the plan under consideration for the nation as a whole -- that is strikingly weak support. And that support is pretty much limited to Democrats; independents and Republicans are opposed

Even in Massachusetts, weak support for Dem health care bill | Washington Examiner

Yet, Martha Coakley continues to run supporting the healthcare bill and has made a number of errors in her campaign. Some of which seem to defy logic , like leaving the state during the last week of a contested campaign to attend a D.C. fund raiser, not airing TV ads on the assumption that seat was somehow a legacy to her party. Even if Coakley wins this seat , the fact that Scott Brown has monted a campaign to even contend in that area is to be commended.

i obviously lack the objective hackness to see the thug pushing the reporter. i however found the thug helping the reporter up after he fell. typical fascist behavior.
