I never understood the GOP fascination with beating up the feds when bankers filling their pockets with ill gotten gains did tens of thousand times the damage.
Yet you are going to vote for Clinton aren't you?

Right now I'm focused on Sanders and I'm hoping he will force Hillary Clinton further to the left. I will support the nominee, and I suspect she will end up not nearly so cozy with Wall St because of it. We'll see.

It's amazing that these self-appointed oligarchic 'rulers' ( supposed citizen-elected REPRESENTATIVES) are elected and defended by the people who make a LOT less money, people these politicians are 'screwing over'.

Our Founding Fathers were famers, watch makers...and several honest lawyers - people who cared more about the country and its citizens than for themselves or any one party. Today?

Millionaires’ Club: For First Time, Most Lawmakers are Worth $1 Million-Plus

"For the first time in history, most members of Congress are millionaires, according to a new analysis of personal financial disclosure data by the Center for Responsive Politics.

(As of 2014) At least 268 of 534 current members of Congress had have an average net worth of $1 million or more in 2012, according to disclosures filed last year by all members of Congress and candidates. The median net worth for the 530 current lawmakers who were in Congress as of the May filing deadline was $1,008,767 — an increase from the previous year when it was $966,000. In addition, at least one of the members elected since then, Rep.
Katherine Clark (D-Mass.), is a millionaire, according to forms she filed as a candidate."

"Last year 257 members, or about 48 percent of lawmakers, had a median net worth of at least $1 million. 11 more member of Congress are now millionaires."

So when one of these politicians claim they 'understand your situation, 'know what you're going through', and / or 'FEEL YOUR PAIN'...you KNOW they are full of shi-ite! They don't 'feel your pain' - They don't give a damn about your pain....but they DO care about keeping Americans pre-occupied with attacking each other over whose politicians are MORE CORRUPT rather than unified and holding ALL politicians to the same standard. And while 'YOU' are 'squabbling' with each other doing that, politicians on both sides are securing their / their party's power & profit, assing edicts to impose on all of 'you', and are declaring (a la Pelosi - ACA and Obama - ACA, Iran Treaty, Trade Deal,...) 'you have no right to know what is in them!

So you ubre partisans struggling to make ends meet keep demonizing each other and fighting about whose politicians are LESS corrupt / criminal while the REAL rich (and powerful) continue to amass MORE wealth, more power, and more control over you!

The Founders were a pretty select group. George Washington would be worth over half a billion dollars today and the 55 patriots who formed the Constitutional Convention were the elite of America in terms of wealth, income, social standing and education.

Oh our elected representatives have made a very cushy life for themselves.

They have many holidays and only work so many days a year.

They have voted themselves some nice perks and we taxpayers are hosed to pay them.

Hell. They should be paying us for the honor of being in the Government and running the country.

Won't be holding my breath for that though.

Yup. They have one cushy life and retirement paid for by we the taxpayer.

Who could ask for anything more??

Yeah, Libs just LOVED Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac, and the XIM Bank that was so corrupt / a mess that they got rid of it...only to have Libs bring it back.

Also, here is some FACTS for you regarding the FF and what they went through...well above and beyond what any of today's wussy / 'sub-par patriots' would be willing to go through

I have no problem with the presidents pay but congress can go fuck themselves.
Their positions should have term limits. A salary cap of 50k. They should also only be in DC for a 4 to 6 month session unless called back by the president for national emergencies. There is NO GOD DAMN REASON for Congress to be trying to create laws every day of the week for 52 weeks.

I seem to recall left-wing nutjobs had nothing to say about politicians not doing their jobs when the entire Democrat Party membership of the Wisconsin state legislature fled to a neighboring state just to avoid having to take a vote the unions that own Democrats didnt like
