"This time, Cruz didn’t frighten fellow conservatives. Only a couple of the usual immigration hard-liners, such as Reps. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, and Steve King, R-Iowa, showed up for his tea party rally. Rep. Renee Ellmers, R-N.C., told CNN last week that 'Senator Cruz needs to stay in the Senate. I think Senator Cruz wants to fan the flames here, but I think everyone here has become more savvy to his ways.'" Milbank The Taming of the Cruz The Salt Lake Tribune

Yep, I told you sucks on the far right your day of failure was coming.

You think?

There will always be a faction who thinks the likes of Gohmert and Cruz are actually working for the good of the country. They never have but their actual actions have been ignored.

Gohmert is just plain stupid. King is vicious. Cruz has an animal level intelligence that has served him well.

Downright horrifying how low our standards are that either could be elected to national office but they're not the only ones.

Who votes for people like this??

That is not something I would be crowing about. I worked hard on a petition to remove the mining company tax exemption here in Nevada and we got steamrolled by the Republican wave. I can't think of a time that the Dems didn't control at least one side. This was a catastrophe and you idiots with your head in the sand are not helping.

It is interesting to see you finally admit that you're not a Republican, Jake. The truth will set you free man.

He is a fucking canadian. NO true conservative should support the half wetback half canuck Hell, he just denounced his canadian citizenship this year! Any pseudo who supports him is no better than supporting a Kenyan.

Horrible people. Wanting a balanced budget and government accountability.

Those bastards!
Seeking to 'balance the budget' on the backs of working Americans, low income Americans, retired Americans, and the disabled is anything but 'government accountability,' while at the same time affording wealthier Americans unwarranted tax relief.

The TPM represents the worst manifestations of the ignorant, fearful reactionary right, adhering blindly to failed conservative dogma and an idealized American past that never actually existed to begin with; an American past that was in no way 'ideal' for millions of African-Americans, Hispanic Americans, gay Americans, and women.

Unfortunately the bane of the TPM will be with us for quite some time, the consequence of their fear and disdain for diversity, dissent, and expressions of individual liberty.

The problem is there are those apposed to the government entitlement reward syndrome that plagues this country, furthermore it will be a cold day in hell that common sense will yield to emotional progressive social engineering position of the left. The TP may well be the remaining bastion standing in the way of the total socialist transformation of this country. As for what occurred in DC this past week by the lets get along pussy foot progressive wing of the GOP, my guess is that they will be abandoned at the polls once again by those that are unwilling to compromise their position for the sake of winning.

The JakeAss has to try to divide the party, INSTEAD of concentrating on the subversive DemocRATs.... one has to realize this TRAITOR IS a subversive hiding as a moderate.... Shakey is so predictable!

Nope, the TeapCreeps tried to take over the party and now are kicked to the curb.

Boehner is already Speaker for the next term.

.

Without the Tea Party, Democrats would have no purpose in life. How could they survive if they could not monetize a bogeyman? They would become irrelevant, and fatuous, and poor.

Your brainwashing is strong, but the truth is stronger. None of what you said is remotely true, and showcases how your perception of reality is severely skewed by your ideology. It also shows how strongly you actively hate people who see things differently than you do.

This hatred is the real bane of America.
