Two vastly different female detectives are thrown together to solve the murder of local men in the sleepy seaside hamlet of Deadloch in Tasmania. It is offbeat, funny, with a shocking ending that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Yeah, lots of it. There's enough there to convince evangelicals that the end is near. The movie skewer police procedurals, forensic scientists, small town life, arts festivals, food culture, straight life, alternative life...the list goes on... However, it is funny and the mystery is very good. My only objection to the movie is you need to have close caption on to understand all the lines.

Deadloch Season 2 is expected to come out on Prime Video sometime in 2025
