Hubris and bombs: The Lavon Affair
The trial that led to the Soviet–Egyptian connection

The Lavon Affair, a failed Israeli covert operation directed against Egypt in 1954, triggered a chain of events that have had profound consequences for power relationships in the Middle East; the affair’s effects still reverberate today.

Those events included a public trial and conviction of eight Egyptian Jews who carried out the covert operation, two of whom were subsequently executed; a retaliatory military incursion by Israel into Gaza that killed 39 Egyptians; a subsequent Egyptian–Soviet arms deal that angered American and British leaders, who then withdrew previously pledged support for the building of the Aswan Dam; the announced nationalization of the Suez Canal by Nasser in retaliation for the withdrawn support; and the subsequent failed invasion of Egypt by Israel, France, and Britain in an attempt to topple Nasser.

In the wake of that failed invasion, France expanded and accelerated its ongoing nuclear cooperation with Israel, which eventually enabled the Jewish state to build nuclear weapons.

Operation Susannah was a false flag operation by Jews in Egypt to blame the Palestinians. Why do you bother? You don't know anything about the subject.
Since there is no such thing as a "Palestinian" ,the point is moot. The Cowards who FLED the New-Old State of Israel in 1948 to make way for the ARAB invasion have NO fucking claim to any part of Israel.. PS -Before 1967 ,GAZA belonged to EGYPT. The West bank belonged to JORDAN.

Right and the inhabitants weren't European immigrants.

King David hotel 💣 was a false flag.

Disguised as Arab workmen and as hotel waiters, members of the Irgun planted a bomb in the basement of the main building of the hotel, whose southern wing housed the Mandate Secretariat and a few offices of the British military headquarters.

The resulting explosion caused the collapse of the western half of the southern wing of the hotel.

Some of the deaths and injuries occurred in the road outside the hotel and in adjacent buildings.

91 people were killed including 41 Britons and 17 Jews.

The false flag was carried out by the Irgun under Menachem Began and approved by the Haganah .

They have always been called Palestinian Arabs whether they were Christians, Jews or Muslims because they lived in Palestine, you idiot.
Since there is not ,and never WAS ,a "Palistine" ,the point is still moot. Doesn't matter what the colonial Brittish falsely named it after WW1.

Palestine is the name for the Syrian province since 500 BC. You should be ashamed for trying to erase the people who lived in Palestine.

You all should go back to the land you were given under the mandate.

I don't expect much decency. They killed over 600 British peacekeepers including Count Folke Bernadotte before statehood.

No. It never was. Yasser Arafat made all that bullshit up. And getting the BRITTISH colonizers out was necessary. But here is a bit of History for you. After WW1 ,The Brits took over "The Holy Land". They divided it. 4/5 went to the ARABS. It was named "Trans-Jordan. 1/5 was granted to the Jews. It was Mis-Called "Palestine". And to the Brittish ,the JEWS were the "Palestinians". The name actually came from an Edict by the Roman Emperor Hadrian. He re-named Judea "La Palestina" after a Hebrew rebellion. As an INSULT. "Palestina" was the Latin word meaning "Philistine" ,an ancient enemy. Now ,it was the Hebrews who called these people "Philistines". It meant Invader in Aramaic ,or Old Hebrew. After defeating these invaders ,they moved North ,where they were annihilated by Sargon 2 of Assyria. FACT--These "Philistines" were Greek or Cretan. Absolutely no relation to ARABS. Hope that clears this up for ya.

The name Palestine was Greek from 500 BC.

The Palestinians were not the sea people from the Aegean.. They were Philistines.

You're profoundly ignorant.

Sargon2 settled four Arab tribes in Samaria during the Babylonian exile.

The Philistines (Hebrew: פְּלִשְׁתִּים‎, romanized: Pəlīštīm; Koine Greek (LXX): Φυλιστιείμ, romanized: Phulistieím; Latin: Philistaei) were an ancient people who lived on the south coast of Canaan during the Iron Age, in a confederation of city-states generally referred to as Philistia.

The Philistines originated as an immigrant group from the Aegean that settled in Canaan circa 1175 BC, during the Late Bronze Age collapse. Over time, they gradually assimilated elements of the indigenous Semitic Levantine societies while preserving their own unique culture.

In 604 BC, the Philistine polity, after having already been subjugated for centuries by the Neo-Assyrian Empire (911–605 BC), was finally destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar II of the Neo-Babylonian Empire.

After becoming part of his empire and its successor, the Persian Empire, the Philistines lost their distinct ethnic identity and disappeared as a people from the historical and archaeological record by the late 5th century BC

Sounds like a crock. You deny the FACT that Hadrian dredged that name up to Insult the People of Judea? And "Philistine" STILL means "Invader" in Aramaic. And they were absolutely no relation to the Bedoans. (Arabs)

I don't speak Aramaic. The Sea people were from the Aegean probably Crete. Of course they aren't related to the Arabs...and most Arabs were not Bedouin.

You brought up Kione. Which is Ancient Greek. Aramaic is Ancient Hebrew. Same language that Jewish Philosopher Jesus spoke.

So ,in reality ,the Arabs have to ancient claim. Add that to the fact they have no modern claim either ,it PROVES there is no "Palestine".
