'Conservatives' and their brothers in the Mid-East

the violence in the middle east has certainly highlighted the similarities between our 'conservatives' and their brothers in ideology that are attacking our embassies.

Both are radical fundementalists, that believe far more in the gun than any religion that they profess. The religion is a just an identifier for who is 'us' and who is 'them'. They both would take all rights away from women, minorities, or anybody that professed anything other than their drivel.

Both want a war with somebody, irregardless of who that somebody is. And both live in a world of mythology that has absolutely nothing to do with present realities. Both hate knowledge, and those that seek it.

And both are absolutely sure that they have the only truth, no matter what is happening in the world around them.

Any nation that allows such people to exercise any influence in their government is doomed to tyranny.

Lol's this coming from a supporter of the president that signed the NDAA,extended the patriot act,and murders American citizens 1 of whom was 16 years old....oh the irony..

I agree with you. And Obama has received a lot of criticism from liberals.

And I recall arguing with conservatives who LOVED all those things when Bush was in office that you folks would have a different view when a Democrat wielded those power. So your irony has been neutralized.
