Consequences of personhood amendments

^^^^^^^

This is the consequence of telling children they are smart even when they can't tie their own shoes.
Its not my party that's writing these proposed laws. I love it how the right wing doesn't believe the laws they write actually say what they say. If a fertilized egg is considered a "person" by the law then everything outlined above would be true.

Either your brain came up with all that absurdity you call consequences or you stole it from someone, either way, my point stands.

I "stole" it from the law, fool.

A person who is killed intentionally and with premeditation by another has been murdered.

A person who is under 18 years of age and who is given alcohol by an adult is a victim of contributing to the delinquence of a minor.

Unless being held pending charges, a person may not be imprisoned for a crime if they have committed no crime.

Do you not see that if you define an embryo as a "person" under the law then all the laws which apply to "persons" will apply to embryos, or are you just a total moron?

Consequences of personhood amendments - which define personhood as beginning with conception:

- It would be murder to abort a pregnancy to save the life of the mother and in the cases of rape and incest - intentionally aborting a pregancy would be murder in all cases.

- Identical twins would become legally defined as a single person.

- Chimeric individuals would become legally defined as two persons.

- I would not be legal to send a pregnant woman to prison - as to do so would deny the Constitutional rights due to the person living inside of her

- Consuming any amount of alcohol during pregnancy - even a light amount under counsel of a physician - would be contributing to the delinquence of a minor (yet any sentencing for the offense to prison could not begin until after birth (see above))

- Welfare mothers would be able to claim they have another dependent from the moment of conception - they would not have to wait until birth.

- Where children are not admitted for free, pregnant women could be charged double admission to everything - including airline tickets.

EDIT-

- Candidates for President, Vice President, and Senate would meet the age requirement by being 35 years since birth minus 9 months at the time of election.

From AmyNation
- every miscarriage would have to be reported to the legal authorities, just like every death of a person. A death certificate would need to be issued - meaning a person could have a death certificate but no birth certificate!

Do the idiots that write these proposed laws actually want these things to happen - or are they just bad law writers?

In short - murdering babies and sitting on your lazy ass collecting "Obama bucks" is fine...

Yeah sounds like typical progressive ideology....

I'm thankful for the reminder that progressives are pieces of shit who deserve every shortcoming they receive....

?
You're the one who came up with it.

You're the one who came up with it.

So now you're pro-life and anti-lazy welfare fucks?

But then of course all socialists say "I'm not a socialist I'm pro-capitalism."

I've always been pro-life.

Yeah well you certainly don't show the "pro-life" side often......

I've never had an abortion or killed anyone.

So - that doesn't mean shit... Just because you have never partook in certain actions doesn't mean you don't support them....

Many people supported the war in Iraq but never killed anyone....

Your OP certainly points to you supporting abortion - if you didn't you wouldn't be mocking Ryan on his position..

I suppose that makes you a liar or a hypocrite..

Do you support hate speech?

You think it should be legal right?

Doesn't that mean you support it, by your reasoning?

Again we witness the folly of the attempt to bolster self esteem over teaching children to think.

You're babbling incoherently again.

Are you this stupid in real life? Identical twins are not defined as a single person after they are born, nor would they be before they are born.

- Chimeric individuals would become legally defined as two persons.

PLEASE tell me you are not really this stupid in real life.

The bolded part is textbook equivocation. Conflating the right to life with the right to liberty and making a fool of oneself.

Whether the unborn child is being carried around inside a woman at an amusement park or at a prison is immaterial to the right to life of the child. Since its liberty is confined to that of the womb during gestation, your point is the epitome of stupidty.

- Consuming any amount of alcohol during pregnancy - even a light amount under counsel of a physician - would be contributing to the delinquence of a minor (yet any sentencing for the offense to prison could not begin until after birth (see above))

No, it would be child endangerment, idiot. And rightfully so.

- Welfare mothers would be able to claim they have another dependent from the moment of conception - they would not have to wait until birth.

I guess you are unaware of the government already provides material and medical support to pregnant welfare mothers.

You just get dumber by the second!

Is she taking up two seats?

I am babbling incoherently? Does that mean you are as bad at English as you are at logic and science?

the guy claims to be an astrophysicist, yet doesn't know why Einstein added the cosmological constant to relativity, something I learned in 5th grade.

Twins who suffer twin to twin transfusion syndrome, resulting in the death of one twin, could see the other twin charged with manslaughter for the death of its fetal sibling.

There would be a funeral for every miscarried fetus. So many burial plots would be taken up with embryos there would be no room for actual people. But the funeral homes would make a fortune.
