Stephen Colbert will be taking the remainder of the week off from hosting The Late Show on CBS as he continues his recovery from a bout of COVID-19. The 59-year-old talk show host took to Twitter on Wednesday with a message for his fans informing them of his expected absence. 'Sorry to say, per doctor’s orders, I’m going to be out for the rest of the week,' the Washington, D.C. native said. 'Resting up so that I can deliver the hand crafted, artisanal talk show that we so enjoy serving you.'

Comment:
If the vaccine works how did Colbert catch covid-19?
I am sure that he has all of the boosters.
Is it worth taking the vaccine if you catch covid anyway?
