CO Supreme Court rules Trump is disqualified from presidency for Jan. 6 riot

I’d imagine this will go to the SCOTUS and get struck down pretty easily…

But, A move like this is infinitely more dangerous to Democracy than a small unarmed riot like on J6. It’s just shocking how many radical activists are in positions of power now.

We have a party trying to not only throw their political opponent in prison but also trying to make it impossible to vote for them.

That’s complete anti-Democracy

This coming election is brining out the true threat to our republic from the left. We now see the radical lengths they will go to in order to ensure their attainment and retention of power.

It's going to be hard for them to strike down a provision written in the constitution.

It's for a good cause.

Trump is the threat and he's disqualified based on the constitution, Amendment 14.

Section 3

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

You have a conviction of Insurrection? Anywhere? Otherwise, your biased and incorrect opinion is that anyone but the State of Colorado's Secretary of State gets to decide who is on the Colorado primary ballot.

It has already been debunked that the 14th is applicable.

Peddle your disinformation elsewhere.

It’ll be hard for the extrapolations and paper-thin connections they tried to make to be accepted into constitutional law.

They are condemning Trump based on a leftist radical conspiracy theory. It’s insane

This is what people think the Supreme court will overturn?

U.S. Constitution, Amendment 14.

Ae they originalists or activists?

We see the right constantly crowing about following the constitution. So now it's the constitution, or trump.
