1. There is not such thing as a 100 round clip, it's called a 100 round drum magazine as a matter of fact their is no such thing as a 30 round clip, that would be a 30 round magazine
2. An assault weapon has a select fire switch that allows the firearm to shoot burst of three or more rounds at one pull of the twiggier
3. A semi Automatic cannot spray 100 rounds in seconds
It can however expend 30 rounds as quickly as the shoooter can flex his finger
4.A semi automatic rifle is not an assault rifle
5. A revolver function the same as a semi automatic firearm.
Six rounds (yeah, I know about speed loaders)
6. A hunting rifle is not a good choice for home defense for two reasons
a. the length can be taken away from you
b. over penetration of projectile you could accidentally shoot a round through your neighbors house if you ever needed to use it.
True, High velocity rounds travel well, easy to miss a target when under stress, making for unintended consequences.
7. Home invaders aren't lone wolves they for the most part do it in pairs if not more.
All the more reason to defend one's home with a short barrell shotgun.
