as recently as this past Fall, he wasn't lookin' too good in the polls...

but these last coupla months, he's had all kinds of political goodies handed to him on a silver platter...

(1) Hurricane Sandy gave him the easy opportunity to "look presidential" for the masses... and how convenient that it happened when it did... prolly worth a coupla million votes on November 6th... prolly enough to give him the election... btw, for the priceless photo ops, he should, at the very least, send Governor Christie a bacon-topped gift basket for helping to make that happen...

(2) the GOP's inept response to the game of chicken popularly referred to as the Fiscal Cliff guarantees that Obama will prevail... in the eyes of the uninformed public (which unfortunately now make up at least half of the American electorate), the GOP have managed once again to look like clowns... Obama should send Boeanor (or however the fuck he spells his name) a gift basket as well...

(3) the Sandy Hook massacre, and the NRA's incredibly pathetic response to it, means that Obama will get what he wants in the way of new gun control measures... Obama should sent dumb-fuck LaPierre a gift basket as well...

His next two opponents, for Illinois Senate and United States Senate, mysteriously ended up with both of their supposedly sealed untidy divorce proceedings unsealed, one of which theoretically was kept securely under lock and key by the State Of California. Obama essentially ran unopposed. Allan Keyes was opposition?
Obama gained the presidency during a period of intense financial turmoil. During the primary period the futures markets saw intense gyrations in the price of oil, reaching nearly $150/ barrel at one time until the Tennessee Republican Party began distributing bumper stickers reading "The Only Place Democrats Want To Drill Is In Your Wallet". No sooner had the first bumper sticker graced its first automobile than the price of oil plummeted to nearly $30.00/ barrel. In September of that same year, a mysterious consortium of depositors led a run on the US Banking system that nearly collapsed the US Banks and plunged the US economy into a depression from which it still has not completely recovered.
How often do two such serious financial events occur in the same year and an election year at that? One of Mr Obama's supporters, George Soros, is well versed in market manipulations of those types, having personally led a successful raid in the 90's that nearly broke the Bank of England as well as his destroying other nation's economies around the world. Mr Soros, in 2008 one of the world's fifty wealthiest men with 15 billion in the bank, in private conversations has described himself as some sort of a God. Method, motive, opportunity.
The Chinese, when an emperor suffers fortunes that are the 180 degree reverse of those Mr Obama has enjoyed up to this date, is said to "Have lost the favor of the Gods"

But according to hannity and limbaugh, this was "Obama's Katrina"!

I think the "fiscal cliff" fiasco has exposed all parties involved. I still don't know why these people can't have single item issues for each bill. For instance vote for or against a bill that will raise taxes on those netting over 400k per year. It seems that these folks in Congress and BOTH parties will add a lot more items within the bill, I think that this is what makes them have this problem.
