The downfall of the secular government in Iraq and the threat of a possible downfall of the secular government of Syria makes it too dangerous for Christians. Christians were influential beyond their numbers in those countries and were among the elite. The Sunni Islamists will go after them. Europe welcomes all Middle Eastern Christians.
