My ballot is in.
Good luck, Governor.
The Great DeNutting of Public Unions begins!
It appears to me that Walker recall is a blatent attemt by the public sector Unions and their knee-caping thugs to actually take control of the government of the state of Wisconsin. Since the big demonstrations, last year the Unions have proven only one thing, that they will do anything, legal or otherwise, to usurp the will of the people and have their puppet take over.

Yes but more importantly, why do you call yourself Stukaman, when that particular dive bomber wasn't widespread until WWII and that is clearly a Fokker on your avatar?
Then again, why not go with a P-51 Mustang which was clearly the superior plane?
Walker is what we need more of in this Country. A politician that will do the Sane, Practical thing even if he knows it may bring the Wrath of Special Interests down on him.
Don't dilute yourselves Liberal, Unions, Especially Public Sector Unions are the Most Powerful Special Interest Group in America. Unless you are a Card Carrying Member, they do not Represent you.

Though I am sure this is a modern political ploy to scapegoat unio9ns as that which is bringing our country down, take a look at the reasons why unions happen and you will see that without the ability for workers to protest their working conditions and salaries this country would look worse than modern China. Without these things corporations did not provide any healthcare. Corporations worked people over 80 hours a week. corporations paid people as little as possible and enslaved them with loans they could not possibly pay back and forced them to buy the companies products to keep them enslaved to the companies. There were no breaks. there was no safety regulations. No there was not any free market correction.
Of course, we could always leave the full protection of every workers rights, and the establishment of their compensation up to the government regulators, but that would be almost communistic in nature, and certainly would not be a smaller government. That would at least eliminate some of the need for unions as people would have some say in their own benefit. I just cannot imagine getting millions of uninvolved people who have no idea about workers conditions would be a solution to the problem when unions can pretty much do the job.
I will agree that the corruption in unions should be reigned in as they really have become terrible, but fixing them is the better idea rather than tossing them out.
I'm gonna be a happy man when I see Scott Walker voted out of office.
I hope Tom Barrett wins.

I couldn't find the right size picture of a Stuka, and Dr-1 Triplaneman didn't have the right ring to it. P-51's rule, no doubt, but my favorite fighter is the F-4U Corsair, and again the name, Corairman is a little unwealdy. (Thanx for giving me a chance to explain)

----------Where to begin..., Firstly, there are labor laws in place in most states that look to all of the situations you describe, minimum wages, 40 hr. work week etc. So the actually need for these immensely powerfull unions is much less than when they were started in the 1930's during the depression.

----------We do have a Dept. of Labor in our Government, but it's funny you should mention Communistic, it was Stalin who sent his agents to America that really started the labor movement during the Depression. Stalin thought he could use the economic upheaval in this country to help sell his socialist anti-capitalist message to the workers. Unfortuately WWII ruined his plans.

----------The unions that are causing all the trouble in Wisconsin are the public sector unions, their members make twice as much in wages as private sector workers doing the same work, they do not contribute to their own heathcare or retirement but insist the taxpayers to pay for them! Walker came in and now the union workers pay 6% towards their retirement and only 12% of their heathcare, poor babies! Please give me that deal! Instead the unions (especially out of state thugs) have been behind this recall and have threatened and bullied local business and individuals who support Walker. These are not the same union guys who wanted to increase worker safty, gets decent wages and all, these are power-hungry thugs, who want their cash cow restored.

Stop being a Drama Queen. Were Talking about Public Sector Union Workers, Not all Unions. Unions have their Place, However they can and do get out of control. Especially when they are negotiating with Government. Private Companies Actually Negotiate and keep the Process Fair. When the Unions are negotiating with their Pals in government what we get is Sweet heart deals that Break State Budgets.
Because our government is we the people, the Idea of Unions Negotiating with Their Own Representatives about Wages and benefits seems kinda Strange by Any Measure. Why is it you guys are so Against Cooperation's and other Special Interest Groups having Power and sway, yet fully support Unions having Immense Power both at state and local Levels when they only Represent 19% of all Americans.
That is what you had Before Walker in Wis, and Public Sector Union with so many Buddies on the inside of State Government that they got what ever the hell they wanted in negotiations, Regardless of it's Economic Impact on the State and It's Budget.
Something had to Give.
