The carnage caused by cars continues, but liberals refuse to call for meaningful car control. Yesterday in Nebraska, two cars drove into a crowd and killed two people and injured many others. In the last two years, we've had at least two incidents where a person purposely drove a car into a crowd to kill as many people as possible. There've even been cases where cars were accidentally driven into crowds, such as the incident in Belgium in March of this year when a hot-rodding driver drove his into a carnival crowd and killed six people, or the incident in Germany in 2020 when a mentally disturbed man drove his car into a crowd and killed five people and injured many others.
Yet, liberals won't even stage protests at car dealerships, where these deadly machines are sold, nor will liberals hold demonstrations at car-making plants. Crickets. They care more about convenience than they do about people's lives.
How about making car manufacturers liable for all deaths and injuries caused by the use of cars, at least in cases where the car is purposely used as a weapon to harm others? But you can't even get liberals to support this "common sense" measure. They refuse to place any blame on car manufacturers or car dealerships and insist that cars, as inanimate objects, cannot be blamed for how they are used. Outrageous!
