This is a very tricky subject. Generally, under capitalism, when productivity increases, pay also increases regardless of who is responsible for the productivity increases. Better to be an auto worker today than 100 years ago-right?.

Here's how it works: if companies put in robots that do the work of 100 people the companies save themselves the pay for 100 people. But, all the new money means they can afford to pay remaining workers more which they must do or lose their best workers to those who will pay them or share with them the most money possible out of their new profits. Thus, capitalism is a workers best friend, exactly the opposite of what libcommie Marxist Democrats would have you believe!

The American monetay policy is socialist. It's not hard to figure out.

Thread is redundant.

1) how is monetary policy socialist???

We have central economic planning by a central bank. We have economic interventionsim by the federal government. We have a belief in deficit financing. We have inflationism. We have a welfare state.

The federla government tells the market what to do instead of the other way around like the Framers intended where the market is supposed to tell the government what to do.

Our monetary policy is so far removed from free-market capitalism that it's laughable to call it that.

2) why redundant??

Because it ignores that the government is dictating the market. Therefore it ignores the real problem.

3) can you say if you agree with op and why or why not?

Marx would love our monetary policy just the way it is. After all, it's precisely what he advocated. Government control of the wealth.

.

well actually monetary policy refers to just what Federal Reserve does. Its not socialist since they do not own or manage companies, just try to avoid deflation and inflation

Capitalism is a workers best friend, like it is the best economic model - only because all the others are worse. Capitalism is a tool, you are either swinging the hammer or getting hit by it. Most workers get hit by it, capital has leverage over labor in most situations. Where you are on that spectrum has everything to do with the individual and little to do with the system.
