Some constructive responses are better than trolling the thread. If your government(s) demanded that Canada support civil liberty and human rights or risk economic costs, it would happen tomorrow.

Human rghts in Canada is also good for the U.S and your global interests. Being associated with us while the world knows that we abuse basic rights of citizens ensures a perception of the West as being hypocrites. This will inherently impact everyones credibility, influence and interests.
