Not intentionally. Liberals just think that Western Civilization is indestructible and, thus, abuse it for moral pleasure. They pick certain tribes of people (like migrants, Muslims, blacks, gays, etc), treat them like pets, and abuse the system in order to tend to those peoples' wants and needs. In doing so, they feel better about themselves, and damage the country in return. However, when being pointed out that what they're doing, may be helping others, but is hurting the country overall, they will claim the moral high ground and criticize others for not being good people (racist, homophobic, xenophobe, etc). I believe our current federal government will allow those states (California and others) to leave the Union without a single act of violence to prevent it, in hopes their governors will very soon after learn the errors of their ways and beg to come back, on the Feds' terms. However, I also do not believe said governors will ask to come back. Rather, I think they will seek and receive the economic and military aid of China, NATO and the EU. What a mess we could be facing then. Finally, I see no rational scenario where out regular military is used to bomb domestic US infrastructure . . . not ever. Just look at how we (the Feds) have allowed certain governors of certain states to openly break federal law, specifically immigration laws. No, IMHO POTUS and the JD will just sort of sit back and let secession go down.
