So we're all at least remotely interested in politics here and I'm wondering if the constant stream of campaign ads and robo-calls have any effect on USMB members.
I get 3 to 4 calls a week, that I'm aware of and the TV ads seem to have taken the place of regular programing which now seems to be our only break from all the ads.
My view is that the vast majority of these ads are utterly useless in regard to changing minds. And it seems that any minds that might be swayed most likely belong to the kind of people that you don't want to be around for very long.
I heard a statistic yesterday that roughly $2000.00 will be spent for each and every American vote in the upcoming election on TV advertising alone between the two parties. So I'm wondering if Obama and Romney are getting their money's worth.
