yeah but imagine your whole life you lived as a woman and then only to get bullied mercilessly in your old age. Bullying is a big problem in old age care.

Remember there is a lot of idiots our there.

That's why I would never let my parents live in a nursing home. I've heard too many horror stories of abuse.

What constitutes proof? Are all conversations to be recorded? Will recordings be allowed in court? Is it legal to record someone with his/her knowledge? And all this is for what, to protect one person's feelings about 'gender identification? What about the 'feelings' of the other who 'feels' that joining the reality of another is against his/her will?
These legal measures for mental states challenge reason.
