This is great news! I am also getting some nice rain the past 3 weeks.

Sad part is - when it rains in California they get floods and mudslides from all the hillsides denuded by wildfires.

must be southern california.the bay area of oakland and san fran get is just the southern parts such as LA and san diego dont get it much.

On the eastside, we have over 200 square miles of mountains that were burned. We need a lot of snow in that country this winter. But there will be major problems if we do get the snow we need when that melts. And if we get a quick melt, the effects are going to be very costly to road, rail, and even buried cables.

In Washington state the problem is even more severe.
