    it was just awesome seeing so many butterflies together at once....they were not afraid of me either, none of them flew away...

    i could be a millionaire if i was able to catch all of these and sell them! :)

    I learned one thing, they like purple or lilac colored flowers, all varieties!

    Nice photos. The ones of the multiple butterflies on the scottish thistle are particularly good shots.

    is that what the flowering plant is? Scottish thistle? ty! i did not know what it was...! i took about 50 pics of them that day and most all turned out pretty good! which was a miracle!
