As I was dozing off last night, I watched Brit Hume make these comments:
Hume: U.S. ‘more liberal than many may have thought’ | The Raw Story
He was more or less blaming moderates and independents for Romney's loss.
I was sitting there listening to him and I'm thinking, "You stupid MF'er", except the full word was going though my head, "you stupid idiots nominated a frigging progressive for President of the United States and you expected us to just go along with it because all conservatives had to go along with the idea of 'anybody but Obama'. Well screw you, you stupid son of a bitch, a large number of us who left the Republican Party did so because the last three candidates you have nominated have been tax and spend liberals."
Brit Hume made an ass of himself last night.
And for the record, there is nothing inherently wrong with being "liberal". I enjoy a lot of conversations with many of the liberals on this site and find that those who act like human beings to others are really pretty good people.
The Republicans nominated a tax and spend liberal again and now Brit Hume is whining that conservatives and especially fiscal conservatives didn't go along with the notion of "anybody but Obama".
Tough shit Brit... wake the hell up!

Many of us have believed and I still basically do that that this is a center-right country, Hume explained. And a lot of conservatives have taken the view that liberals are really on the wane. If you look at tonights exit polling that weve seen so far, those that self-identified as liberals are about 24 percent, self-identified conservatives 35 percent, moderates 40 percent. Now, this apparent outcome tells you one thing about those moderates, that there are in that category an awful lot of them who are actually liberals.
Now, liberal became kind of dirty word, thats when the word progressive came into use, he continued. But I think that but I dont think you take the conservative number, 35 percent, its certainly a share of those moderates that are moderate to conservative, youve still got a center-right country, but its more liberal than many may have thought looking at those numbers. Its got to be.
